history repeats itself and that proves true this week on  SnydeRemarksRadio…..Jimmy Mac and I got married in October of 1997…..a little before the wedding I started Weight Watchers…..well, 13 years later and I’m back on the program…..it’s pretty live-able because you can eat what you want if you budget your points….and you can even drink BCBs (blue collar beers), which is key in my book……

Jimmy Mac is back from his big Star Wars weekend and we’re back in action here on SnydeRemarksRadio……this week on the show, Jimmy Mac talks about hitting the runway and doing his best Zoolander impression during Star Wars Celebration V…..

he was modeling some t-shirts from the lovely Ashley Eckstein’s new clothing line Her Universe…..Ashley plays the part of Ahsoka Tano on the Clone Wars and she couldn’t be nicer….(or cuter, for that matter)…….I am not the biggest Star Wars fan on the block, but I have to admit I’m loving the new shirt Jimmy Mac brought home for me from Ashley’s new line…..

and, it’s always a fun time going to the dentist, at least our dentist, Dr. Paul Ladone…….he can’t get our kids to brush their teeth, but he can put a Star Wars tattoo on Jimmy Mac’s crown……and he sure knows his way around a practical joke at the ole dental office……what time do you go to the dentist?…..2:30….(tooth hurty, get it?!)…..I just love that  joke!…..

whew!….we did it!….we gave it our all at our very first SnydeRemarksRadio Remote Podcast….lots of fun was had at Irish Times in Brookfield over the weekend….lots of freshies were flowing…..and lots of buckets of Miller Lites were being emptied…..however, we don’t have much to show for it….we’ll give you all the details on this week’s episode of SnydeRemarksRadio….

we’re road-tripping it this week on SnydeRemarksRadio….Jimmy Mac and I went to see the best Led Zeppelin tribute band ever, PreZence at Durty Nellie’s in Palatine….

we were there for the soundcheck  as the John Bonham of the band, Eric Larson pounded on the drums in true Bonzo fashion….a little backstage chatter reveals my first concert cocktail, Mr. Clean and Whiskey…..Jimmy Mac wows us all with his Zeppelin knowledge in this episode…..and Jimmy Page, aka Lou Caruso, does a little chatting with us before he treats us to a little Zep medley action backstage….we talk to the John Paul Jones of the band, as well….that would be Steve Albue….unfortunately, we never got a chance to talk to the Robert Plant of PreZence played by Anthony Tenerelli, because the band was getting ready to take the stage and I wanted to stop talking and start drinking……Jimmy Mac introduced the band before he joined me for a few Pabst Blue Ribbons and plenty of air guitaring……

FYI, we didn’t bootleg the show , so if you want to experience PreZence live in action, they will be playing again on December 26th and you should make a point to go see them if you like Zeppelin….even if you don’t, it’s still a good rocking time….the band’s website is http://www.prezencetheledzeppelinshow.com if you’d like to check them out sometime….
